My name is Mauro Gramuglia. I'd like to thank you for considering me for your personal chef on Maui.

My culinary background is French / Italian cuisine, and I also specialize in classic pastry, including wedding cakes and baking, which I studied at the C.I.A. (Culinary Institute of America) Grey Stone St. Helena, California. I have an extended knowledge in American and old world wines and more than 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

I moved to Maui in 1991, and developed a personal style of cooking, combining my classic training with the local techniques creating innovative menus.

I was the Executive Chef of the most “trendy” restaurant in Maui, catering to many personalities and celebrities of the world including: Jack Nicholson, Whitney Huston, Natalie Cole, Sugar Ray Leonard, Dustin Hoffman, Al Michael, Dan Marino, Sara Jessica Parker, Demi Moore, Cuba Gooding Junior, Abdul Kareem Jabar, David Robinson, Steve Kerr, Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Celine Dion, Prince, Carlos Santana, Sylvester Stallone, Fabio, Ahman Rashad, Troy Aikmen, Michael J.
